THE TEAM.
Team Niklas is sponsored by my company Niklas Group which is all about “Building Lifestyles” and practicing what we preach. The company aspires to give back to the community and to do its part in promoting and supporting amateur sports. The team was created in order to start something that would help promote cycling and in turn help increase the Niklas brand awareness in the community. We have riders in CAT 5, CAT 4, CAT3, Women's A and Women's B. It is our objective to work together and step up into more competitive categories as a team. We are very committed and aspire to be a club that is cohesive and manageable where we can easily share the same values and goals as a cycling team. As a business owner, husband, father and just generally active guy, I know the importance of trying to balance out all the commitments in life. At the end of the day, none of us are “pros” so it does not make sense to go through the same pain and suffering. However, that does not mean that we cannot be competitive and steadfast to the team objectives.
In 2012 I hope to become involved in sponsoring a U17 team and do our part to help develop young cyclists.
